Parish Mission

“CALLED TO BE WITNESSES”

MALIN PARISH MISSION 11TH -19TH MAY 2013

Dear Parishioners,

I wish to invite you to the Malin Parish Mission which will be given by the Redemptorist Mission team from Saturday 11th to Sunday 19th May 2013.

A parish Mission is an opportunity for all of us to renew and deepen our Catholic faith.

It enables us to develop our understanding of what it means to believe in God, to be a follower of Christ and how our faith can give meaning, purpose and hope in our everyday lives.

It will help us experience in a very special way the incredible presence and love of God in our lives. By attending the mission you will enable God to reach you wherever you are in your faith and membership of the Church. You may be a regular committed believer, a faithful witness to your Catholic faith who seeks further support in living that faith, or you may be wondering or confused or anxious about what is happening in the Church today, or you may be lukewarm, weak, disheartened or even have lapsed or abandoned your faith.

Whatever your particular or personal circumstances at the moment, you are very welcome to come as you are to the mission. It will be a time for change, for growth, for finding inner peace and healing, and for mending relationships with others and with God.

Whether you are a saint or a sinner, or somewhere in between, our parish mission is for YOU.

It will be a time for renewal, for reconnecting with God, with Christ and his message, and with our true selves, as a means of restoring meaning, purpose, hope and joy in our personal lives and in our parish community.

Below you will find the programme for the week of the mission and and some prayers to ask God’s blessing on all of us and on Malin parish:

I look forward to welcoming you during the mission.

Yours sincerely,
